This hands-on, highly interactive course is designed to cover the main areas in which secretaries and support staff require competence.

Participants will learn :
- Communication
- gain a new perspective on written, spoken and unspoken communication
- Business Writing
- understand the factors that affect format, style and organisation of writing (letters, memos, minutes, telephone messages)
- Grammar
- usage for more effective communication
- Telephone Skills
- develop better communication skills to interact and have a better relationship with external/internal customers in person by phone (effective use of the voice; choosing the right language, handling difficult callers).
- Office Housekeeping
- promote better teamwork and develop positive attitudes through better communication with the boss, colleagues and customers (being organised; prioritizing of work).
