In every organisation, supervisor plays a very important part in helping an organisation to achieve the mission and objectives of an organisation. A supervisor is the middle person between top management and the workforce. Inview of this, every supervisor must receive adequate training to ensure that he is ready to shoulder the very important duties that he has to carry out.

This course is to prepare individuals who have been recently appointed to the supervisory function so that they can satisfy all the requirements of the roles and functions of their new appointment.

At the end of this course participants will be able to:
- Understand the roles and functions of a supervisor
- Know and appreciate the qualities of an effective Supervisor who is able to get his team to produce quality goods and services to satisfy customer needs.
- Understand basic principles of leadership and is able to motivate his subordinates to work as a team.
- Able to portray a positive attitude so as to role model the right image.
- Understand the problems faced during one way and two way communications with his subordinates.
- Learn how to delegate work effectively.
- Make decisions in a group or team environment.
